The Louettes Econdouè are a small mountain range, actually the northern spur of the Pigne d’Arolla. On one side, towards the chain of the Vouibé, the Glacier de Pièce flows downhill from the Col des Vignettes, on the other side, towards the Pointes de Tsenâ Réfien, the much more impressive Glacier de Tsijiore Nouve breaks into its huge moraine valley, which in turn tells of the little ice age with last peak in Valais around 1850.
